Beige

There was a bit of stuff in the UK on Twitter* that started in the summer of 2017 about the repeated use of photographs
of passive, inactive 'wrinkly hands' to illustrate news stories about later life -
particularly stories with a 'doom and gloom for the elderly' angle such as loneliness or inadequate social care.
You can look up more about this on Twitter using the hashtag #nomorewrinklyhands*.

There's another photo that's also often used, of an older woman staring hopelessly out of a rainy window, one hand to her face.
So I asked various Facebook bods I know for alternative ideas as to what she might really be thinking.
And to share some alternative photos that I might use.

And, from that, I wrote a very short story and made a short** photo film of the story, Beige, which you can see here.

* I am told. Honestly, I am rubbish at Twitter. Sorry.
** 2 mins 35 secs. That's short, where I'm from.
